Joe Volpe's leadership campaign was hit with a $20,000 fine yesterday for buying memberships in Quebec, as Liberals across Canada kicked off Super Weekend. Oh he will appeal - the Liberals never do anything wrong. Joe there is a fork stuck in you - Your done guy, done. More cash please!

Extra Trouble: Volpe got more bad news Thursday. Through his lawyer, landlord Shakir Mohammad sent Volpe a letter claiming he owes $35,000 in unpaid rent on his former campaign headquarters in Scarborough and warning of court action if the bill isn't paid. Mohammad also claims the Volpe campaign refuses to return the keys. Joe cannot afford to pay the rent and buy Liberal party memberships at the same time. Folks give the guy a break.
