Now House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill., is seeking the return of documents taken in what he has deemed an unconstitutional FBI raid of Louisiana Democratic Rep. William Jefferson's office in the Rayburn House Office Building last Saturday. This really takes balls. Hastert states: "We are not trying to protect any individual, but we ought to protect the prerogatives of the House as far as the Constitution." What a truck load of horse shit. Protect criminals in the name of the U.S. constitution. Please how stupid do you think the American public is Mr Hastert? If you want to protect the supposed good name of the house them kick your buddy Jefferson out on his corrupt ass now. This is an election year. Stupid acts like this are exactly what will give the democrats control after the fall elections. This crap flows from the top of the government right down to the slime at the bottom. Vote them all out. Send Washington a message that you are sick & tired of their crap.

Telus Voicemail Upgrade - Nortel Style

Telus decided to install Nortel Voicemail systems to replace their older Octel equipment. The result? It has been over 24 hours where people in Alberta & BC do not have voicemail. Or shall I say voicemail that is working even close to the way it really should. One can only wonder what company would deploy a new system without a complete test/simulation on a real switch in real time. Nortel cannot seem to keep their finances straight but now we are seeing the "Nortel Touch" when it comes to something these boyz should be able to do in their sleep. What a team. Vonage Debut Turns Ugly - Currently Down 14 Percent

The Vonage IPO got off to a rocky start today, with shares falling 14% in furious trading. The Holmdel, N.J., Net calling shop priced its initial public offering late Tuesday at $17 a share, raising some $531 million. But Vonage tanked soon after Wednesday morning's opening, hitting $14.50 on the New York Stock Exchange with 21 million shares changing hands.
