Martin to Apply for His Own Border Crossing

Do not be surprised to see Paul Martin former Canadian PM greeting you at the border. Right now it is only a rumor but, word has it that Martin will grant himself his own private border crossing before he is out of office. I can see it now. Someone from India shows up at Martin's Crossing cash in hand. Martin will have his official hand me the cash, you are now part of a county of minorities stamp in hand. Visa, Debt, Amex or even checks accepted. Martin will have an as yet un-named Liberal Party Bag man working full time at what's expected to be called "Martin's Crossing."

Martin's Crossing will probably be located somewhere on a reserve in PQ where he can function as a Border Crossing / 1st Nations customs clearing house. To his credit Martin will be able to import & export on his own ships keeping the costs to the Canadian tax payers lower than UPS or Fedex. Given the fact that Martin owns such large ships he will be able to handle almost any number of people seeking passage/entry to Canada. Given his offshore banking connections I doubt that moving money will be a problem. After the elections results Martin was heard to be saying he is looking forward to growing his business with the advent of a lower GST.
